From launching one of the world’s most successful gamified campaigns, Dumb Ways to Die (yep, he’s to blame for that annoyingly catchy viral campaign), to developing interactive campaign experiences for global icons and local clients alike. From Google, Toyota, Mastercard, Ford, Cathay Pacific, Coca-Cola, GSK, and L’Oréal Paris to the Australian Federal Government, University of Melbourne and Melbourne International Film Festival.
His career spans roles in Marketing networks as Chief Creative Officer at McCann Australia, Chairman APAC Creative Council McCann, BBDO, and WPP. From Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, London to Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart and Melbourne. Most recently, as Head of Brand Marketing at Australian Red Cross where he led a shift towards ethical marketing, redefining how the organisation engaged with audiences across digital platforms.
Pat’s work is housed in the London Design Museum and been awarded by TED. Appointed ‘Board of Director’ for the ‘One Club for Creativity' in New York. He was honoured by the Australian Creative & Effectiveness AC&E Awards as the inaugural 'Creative of the Year'. Named Campaign Magazine APAC Australian ‘Creative of the Year,’ and listed by Advertising Age US as the ‘World’s #1 Creative Director. His work has been awarded for its innovation, effectiveness, craft in writing and visual storytelling, design, digital, social and web communications at Cannes, D&AD, Webby, One Show and EFFIE awards.
